“I love this hotel was refurbished to its original art deco style. What a great atmosphere”

It was not mentioned in our conversation or on any of the websites or on Expedia that the facility was undergoing a major renovation and that most of the amenities were closed (pool, exercise facilities). It was so noisy that the front desk staff stood outside on their phones.... The entire downstairs/lobby area was cleared down to the concrete and it was very dusty. The room levels smelled like paint. I NEVER would...

“Sheets had some stains on them but they were light. Seemed definitely clean. Breakfast was fine. No extra blankets in the room and the AC works WELL, so maybe ask for some at check in. Overall it was great for what we paid.”
